HIji RR is the pseudonym for the American electronic rocker. Originally from Woodlake, a small agricultural town in Central California, he now resides in Silicon Valley. His name is pronounced "high" "jye" "are are".

His music is best described as electronic rock, fusing together synthesizers, electronic instruments, and guitars. HIji RR's songs are rock and synth-pop, in addition to imaginative instrumentals that are anything but rock. His sound resides somewhere at the intersection of The Smashing Pumpkins, Depeche Mode, and Nine Inch Nails.

HIji RR has also had the opportunity to remix a variety of other musicians, compelled to work inside and outside of his own genre. Mostly recently, he remixed electronic music duo, Test Subjects. He's also remixed singer/songwriter Joshua Dennis, electronic band Avenpitch, industrial Noxious Emotion, indie rock Shrinking Violet, and the imaginative Mystechs.

Those who have followed him over the years know that he previously used the pseudonym M-Halo, shedding that name as a reflection of moving through a chapter of his life. Now using HIji RR, his name more accurately reflects who he is now and his producing of new music that evokes emotion, imagination, and experiences.
